Wood Bridges

If you visit to the northern areas (Swat, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Chitral, Gilgit, Kaghan Valley, Naran Valley and Skardu etc.) of KPK (Former NWFP), Pakistan, you will find a lot of wooden bridges there. These bridges are not only a source of transportation, but also add to the beauty of these areas. The pictures below are taken at Buner, Amazai

Hi Dr Shahid!
Thanks for dropping a comment on my blog. I agree with you that the whole Pakistan and particularly northern areas of Pakistan are more beautiful then any country in the world as regard natural beauty. But unfortunately infrastructure facilities such as roads and peace are the two main problems in attracting visitors especially foreigner visitors. Tourism is an industry and a great contributor toward economy of many countries such as France, Spain, United state, China, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Ukraine, Turkey and Mexico etc. But unlikely we did not get any advantage of the natural beauty of our country.
